Gardens hold a special place in my heart, a microcosm of nature, a mini-paradise. Imagine growing ‘light’ like vegetables or topiary. In geometric swaths of shape holding space tenuously dependent on its context, pure oil color drags layers over alternating hues. Bouncing in and out, shapes form and dissolve distinctions of foreground & background.
