I painted the brightest, most garnish colors I could. The central figure looks over his shoulder at the baubles with an underworld of fleshliness. It’s a delightful world that makes me cry now for the oppression people have to endure for being gay. I grew up in shame and fear that anyone would find out about my Secret Love.
